World Book Day Celebrations

This week we had extra celebrations for Jack’s birthday. We enjoyed our school disco and had lots of fun dancing.

We have had a fun filled week of learning! We have been learning about the life cycle of a plant and enjoyed planting some cress seeds. We have also written party invitations and learnt the names of 3D shapes.

Open Afternoon

Dear Parents and carers of P1, we are looking forward to having you in to visit tomorrow from 2 to 2.30. It will be a chance to meet Mrs Patterson, see our new phonics and reading schemes and look at some of the work we have been doing.

This week we have enjoyed sharing cake for Kheo’s birthday! We have also enjoyed tasting lots of green fruit and vegetables. We have also been working hard on our letter writing and have learnt the names of different 2D and 3D shapes.

This week we have worked very hard – We have enjoyed exploring foods which keep us healthy and tried very hard with our reading and writing.
